Customer Review: poor speed...or only a rare case?

about 8 times slower than my former 512M drive(also sandisk product)!!!!
for equality, I format these 2 drives to FAT32, and copy the same folder with some course documents and some small portable software inside. The 512M one finishs in 5 minutes, while the new one is still copying after 20mintues!!! and only 46%!!!
I've use it for 2 weeks and can't bare it any more!!!

Definitely the flash drive to own. Very small and slim, so it will not obstruct adjacent USB ports. Very fast, good-looking. Only problem is that it's SO small, you're at constant risk of losing it! Keep it clamped to your key-chain. Included recovery and security software is not Mac-compatible, otherwise this would get a 5.Customer Review: Don't Buy This

After only 3 months the SanDisk Cruzer Micro 2GB died. Data was lost, could not be read. Both my desktop and laptop computer wanted to reformat the Cruzer, but when I tried to format, it could not. Flash drive is totally useless. I replaced it with a Kingston Data Traveller and I hope it lasts longer.Customer Review: Win98SE does Large Flash Drives ...

This is one of the few large ( 2 GB ) flash drives that I am able to use with Win98SE (using Sandisk's Win98 driver) on my home built AMD XP2700+ computer. This flash drive is from a reliable company and the price is reasonable (under $40 from an Amazon merchant). Overall, this was a real find.Customer Review: Great For The Price

I agree that it is a little slow but for the price I'm totally satisfied. Instead of backing-up everything each time I wrote a script that uses the X-Copy funtion and it makes quick work of my back-up procedures. If you are just looking for a cheap way to back-up, this is it.
