Out of the 11 USB Flash drives I've been through, (Lexar, SanDisk, Memorex), this footprint is my favorite. The size beats all but the Sony. My only complaint is the sleeve - BUT not like others say. I like the rubbery sleeve and the protection it offers, but my current one didn't stay that way. My clear one on my 1GB micro is now hardened and slides off when I remove the blue cover. Maybe only the clear one dries up... I don't want the colored ones, so I've glued it on. Great performer and perfect size for $60 AR. 5 stars if my cover didn't dry up. UPDATE: Perhaps I received a defective unit, but this is nearly half the speed of it's 1GB sibling. Speed is similar to my 1GB Cruzer Mini - pure torture. I love the size of this flash drive. It comes with a lanyard that is detatchable at the end (very handy). It also comes with 3 plastic covers that I wish would stay on. I have already lost two of the covers because they fall off while I am wearing it... and I'm not going to put the pink one on because it's a bit femmy for me. I noticed that without the cover on, the drive gets a bit warm to touch after being in a USB port for a little bit.
I use this product every day whether it be to listen to my mp3s or lookup a password with KeePass. I also use it to carry frequently used applications that I install on people's computers (e.g. Antivirus, Antispam, and other tools). I can't wait til they come out with a 20GB one... that'll be great.

Forget what other people say about it being to small. This is the only pen drive that is just the right size for your keychain. I got a 4GB Cruzer for my birthday, but I still use this one every day. Contray to what you may believe it has a faster transfer rate than the new 4GB drive plus the new drive is not micro but mini in size. And talk about tough, soon after I got it I left my keys in my pocket and they went through the wash (Almost 30 minutes submerged in water with just the rubber skin on) When I took it out I was sure it would be dead. Nope, All data was in tack and one year later it's still going strong. I drop my keys all the time and have stepped on it at least 10 times. I am buying this one for all my friends for Christmas!Customer Review: Definitely stay away

Bought this about two months ago. Never liked it for two reasons:
-The rubber cap is so easy to lose. (Guess that's why it comes with spares though.)
-Utterly slow! This is what was most uncomfortable with the drive. Yeah it's slow only with groups of small files like everyone else said. Still, it's annoying to have to zip a bunch of small files everytime before you copy them over to the drive. Then unzip when you want to use/copy them. Not practical.
And now, well, it just stopped working last week. I mean completely, for no reason. Just great. Like one day before I was going to sell it to someone else.
Stay away from this one.

I bought this flash drive like a month ago and it stopped working just like that! One day I plugged it in a portatil hp pc and windows explorer didn?t respond. It?s a XP sp2.
I unplugged it and tried again with the same result, the same with the regular pc?s where I usually use this flash drive. Bottom line: money wasted.
Being a regular costumer of sandisk, I must say im very dissapointed. The must frustating thing is that I wont get a refund because the 30 days expired.
Besides, it comes with a cheap cover instead of the regular one (the 512 micro flash drive).
So, try some other product.
