Customer Review: DONT get it for your PSP.

Sandisk not a bad brand, however this model of memory stick PRO DUO just not competible with the Sony PSP. I tried copy files and mp3 into my PSP on the day i received it. and it just dead after 100+MB, I couldnt even format it or got it recognized by my psp or PC. I returned it and got a replacement from Amazon ( Great Customer Service ). Same problem with the replacement too. I believe not just me have this problem with this memory stick PRO DUO. Go and get the Gaming version if you need that for your PSP. it work great with the Gaming model. Dont try give yourself a try just because of the price ( it dropping because of that ), I sure you will ended up paying more maney or shipping to order the model for PSP Gaming one.Customer Review: Wonderful, recommend to everyone

It's the perfect stick. It's the same as the special "Yellow" one, but it's cheaper, and comes with an adapter. You have to use the adapter with most memory card readers, since they don't usually read the memory stick duo sized chips. But I've put it into 3 seperate readers, and they all worked. I have not tried this chip in my digital camera which takes Memory Stick Pro media (the larger one) but Sony says it should work.
A previous reviewers said it was incompatible, but Sony says it will work in any device which supports Memory Stick Pro or Memory Stick Pro Duo. It is incompatible with Memory Stick devices (without the Pro or Duo in their names).

I've owned my psp for about 6 months now and I was getting tired of only playing games and using the web browser. I wanted to try and copy a DVD movie onto my psp. In order to do so you need at at least a 512 mb card if not more. I purchased this 1 GB San Disk version at first skeptickle thinking that I may have wanted to get the sony kind. After purchasing this and getting movies on it very easily, I found out that Sony pays San Disk to make Sony's "Brand" memorysticks and also that all San Disks memorysticks and duos had much higher ratings! So, If you are deciding on which brand to buy, I reccomend going with San Disk!Customer Review: Not Compatible

Even though the front of the cover says PSP Compatible, I've called Sandisk and they've said "check with sony for firmware updates because the 1.0 gigs have a problem with the psp" so I've though.. false advertisement? what? don't get this for your PSP. doesn't work and freezes up after I tried putting my files from my 32mb card over to my new 1.0gig. My psp version is 1.50 and none of the files can damage my psp. They've all worked with my 32mb and it should have worked since many reviews online states Sandisk is better than Sony. Maybe Sony got jealous? Who knows. Do NOT buy this if you are buying it for a psp.Customer Review: Uncompatible

Yes it is a great bargain for the MB versus dollars, but it is not 100% compatible with all Pro-devices. Unable to download or move files via the MemoryStick Pro slot on the Vaio Sony computer. The only way I can download is to have the memory-stick in a device such as PSP or camera and then move the files via USB. Not an efficient way nor convenient way since it would be easier to use the memory-stick slot. What is the slot for anyway then? It works with all my other memory sticks, but not his one. Manufacturer (SanDisk) not any help at this time and too costly to send back.
