Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of 6GB MicroSDHC Card with Adapter & Micromate USB 2.0 Reader / Writer

Customer Review: Decent price for the size.
Summary: 5 Stars

I got the card and TomTom maps as a combo with a small discount price. The card didn't work at first in my Glofiish x500+ but that's because it's SDHC and I had to install a couple new drivers and then reset the phone. After figuring out how to do all of that the card worked great. The only problem is that since it's SDHC it isn't backwards compatible with regular micro SD card readers. I had to go out and purchase a micro SDHC card reader. Other than that, this thing is great. 6Gb in the size of a finger nail, wow.

Customer Review: No miniSD adapter included.
Summary: 4 Stars

I bought this card to go with a Nokia N810 Internet Tablet. It was suggested as a companion item by Amazon. However, the N810 uses miniSD cards, not microSD! Because Amazon had suggested it, I assumed that the necessary adapter would be included, but I was wrong. It only has an adapter for a full size SD slot. Rather than wait again, I went out to buy the necessary adapter locally.
The USB SDHC adapter is useful because none of my existing SD card readers handles high capacity cards.

Customer Review: I like this memory chip
Summary: 5 Stars

I got mine at a good price and have had absolutely no problem with it thus far. I use mine in my HTC Tilt. I have a ton of books in my phone as well as nursing software programs. I plan to add the audio scriptures 1.7 GB and some more music and some short video clips so I needed this big memory chip. I had alreay packed out my 2 GB chip when I upgraded to this one.

So far this one has worked great, no problems.

Customer Review: Does not work with Blackberry Pearl
Summary: 1 Stars

Despite numerous attempts by my IT support, the memory card refuses to work properly with my Pearl. I can only configure it to 1.6GB but not 6GB. The USB 2.0 reader accompanying the card turned out to be useless because if I use it Pearl reports "reading error." 4GB card works just fine - I would stick with it until technology develops further. SanDisk, AT&T and Blackberry helpdesks are useless with these issues.

Customer Review: Works in the 8525 - with reservations
Summary: 4 Stars

I used this to replace multiple cards in an AT&T/Cingular 8525 and I did get it working, but you have to be careful to make sure you have the right ROM version in your phone. WM5 won't work and early WM6 versions might be dicey. Once it's working though, it's a champ. The included reader is very handy for those of us who have older version PC card readers that don't handle the newer SDHC format well.
