This video recording does not work well when I put it in continuous mode.
I wanted it to record over the beginning when memory is filled.
What happened is it will record and play back properly untill the memory is filled up. After that the screen goes blank (black) every other second. This makes it very hard to view the video. It may miss some action when you need it. It is ashamed such a good product with a bad bug.

great product, speedy delivery, product is as promised. poor instruction set and if you need to ask a question, you had better be fluent in a foreign language. unable to communicate with foreign service desk...its a shame to have to rely on out of country support for seemingly simple questions. i could not understand a word they were trying to say...Customer Review: Low quality video

Even if you set the video quality to high-res, the images are so poor that you could not recognize enough facial features to identify an intruder in your house. It took me about a month to get my full refund, but the company finally did return the money. This system worked great as a discreet camera and recording system. Everyone thought it was just a regular motion sensor with no recording capabilities. All the controls are on the back of the unit and you just pop out the SD card when you want to see what you caught on camera!Customer Review: SVAT PI1000 DVR

This little DVR system is really good. so far it's been reliable, fairly easy to setup and it has good picture. The view angle is just enough but wider would be better and it needs to be placed in some lighted area to work.
