When I received my connector the metal was folded over inside one of the red RCA plugs, looks like it got caught on something during manufacturing. If I had tried to plug it in it I may have permanently damaged the connector, or at least made it a major pain to fix. Got lucky and noticed it and just used a pair of needle-nose pliers to push the metal roughly back into place.
Also, they seem to have reversed the positions of "green" and "blue". All of my component cables are laid out "red", "blue", "green". Obviously minor, but it might bother someone to have to cross the blue and green wires. Or you could just ignore the colors :)
