Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Replacement PS/2 Keyboard to USB Adapter - M/FCustomer Review: Horrible; DON'T ORDER! Summary: 1 Stars
Okay, I'm not a total igit; I know computers. I'm going to school for computer engineering and understand when something should or shouldn't work. This product should work PNP (plug n' play) style. It flat out doesn't. If you plug the keyboard halfway into the slot it will stay on but the slightest jiggle and it comes loose; so your computer keeps detecting a device plugged in, then oops it's unplugged again, then detected, then oops unplugged. If you try to plug it in all the way to the adapter then just plug it into your USB port nothing happens. Why doesn't this thing just work? Oh yeah, because it's a POS. Now I understand what the "m/f" stands for in, "PS2 To USB Keyboard Adapter M/f". They're calling you a mofo before you even buy it. Two cyber-thumbs waayyy, way down. Should have just picked up a USB keyboard on craigslist instead of waiting for this to come in the mail and spending any money on it.
