Adorama Universal Swivel Holder #4117
I have used this holder for my Nikon D800 Flash attachment and a lightweight see through umbrella. It's working fine so far. I think this holder might be a little 'light' for a large, heavy umbrella but for the price I'm pleased.

These are my first swivel holders and I'm almost happy with them (all four). One thing that I did not like was that you can't adjust the umbrella you attach with in the vertical axis. For example, you can't tilt the umbrella up or down. But other than that, everything holds on tight and I'm happy with that. It's a good swivel holder, but the cold shoe that comes with it is a POS. Soft metal, the screws strip out without even putting any pressure on them!
If you've got your own cold shoes, or don't need them, this is great.
Otherwise? Might want to go with a different swivel holder.

Unlike what is depicted no hot shoe attachment came with mine. Not a loss though because the screw size on the stud fit well with the mount i had. It was bigger then i expected. Sign of good build quality? Time will tell. Everything fits nice and tight.Customer Review: Hot shoe holder

The hot shoe holder needs some design work. The holder set screw is not in a location to secure the flash. The flash I am referring to is the Nikon SB600 & SB800 The rest of the unit works fine and other types of flash units might work out fine.
