This item does exactly what it's supposed to, and that's hold an umbrella and shoe-mount flash on a light stand for portrait shooting. A great deal at the price, and I highly recommend this item. The only reason it got four stars instead of five is that it's only use is as a backup item (in case your strobes fail on you in a critical shoot) or as a budget startup item. If you don't need backup, and aren't on a budget, invest in some strobes and get a nice strobe clamp.Customer Review: Quality Item

I saw this item for sale at a photography seminar. Same materials, looks and feels the same. They were asking over $30 for it. Quality item specially for the price, feels nice and solid. Shipping was quick as I received the item earlier than expected. If I ever need a similar piece of equipment I will buy the exact same thing. Why pay more for a special name brand when this Studio Pro Swivel Bracket from Adorama works just fine.?Customer Review: It works, but not wonders.

This is a good product, it perfectly does what it's supposed to. The only thing that bugged me is that the adjusting knobs for the studs are placed on a part where they block (in certain angles) the umbrella rod from going farther so you get less angle. Anyway, it's not the angles you use everyday and you can also use a boom stand for extreme angles. TWO OF MY FLASHES, WHICH I THOUGHT WERE SECURE, FELL OFF THIS DURING TWO WEDDING RECEPTIONS. IF YOU BUY THIS, PLEASE BE SURE TO REPLACE THE MOUNT WITH A STROBOFRAME SHOE MOUNT, WHICH HOLDS ITS WEIGHT IN GOLD. IT COST ME OVER $200 TO HAVE MY FLASHES REPAIRED, SO I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS TO A FRIEND, UNLESS THEY DESIRE TO PURCHASE THE $15 STROBOFRAME SHOE MOUNT ALONG WITH IT.Customer Review: Not Impressed

I purchased this with a Pocket Wizard system, an umbrella & stand. The clamps are big and easy to use. The hot shoe does not work very well. Anytime you touch the flash ( 58oEX II) it almost fell out of the hot shoe. I played with it for an hour and realized the screw that holds in the flash does not align base of flash. I will send this back and look for something else.
