Customer Review: Worked perfectly for France
Summary: 5 Stars

We took this to France. We had been told that we didn't need it for our laptop, because the laptop comes with a transformer. But after plugging the laptop in with only the converter it started to flicker. So we used this baby with the transformer on it and it took away the flicker. Also used it for charging camera batteries and my curling iron. I was really confused reading all the reviews and what I should buy for our trip but this was a lifesaver.

Customer Review: Looked used upon arrival
Summary: 1 Stars

We ended up returning this product to Amazon. The box it arrived in was slightly damaged and looked very old and the product itself looked used. We returned this product and bought a different one (1875 WATTS TRAVEL VOLTAGE CONVERTER) that worked out great. We never got a chance to try the Simran 200 Watts Deluxe out, we didn't want to take a chance on it.

Customer Review: Worked great even with a straightener!
Summary: 5 Stars

I recently traveled to Berlin, Germany on a 10 day trip and used this converter for the trip. I charged my cell phone, camera, and Zune with it. I also used it with my straightener. I know that it tells you not to use it with heating products, but as long at the voltage on your straightener is equal to or less than the voltage max on the converter, you will be fine. I used this converter each day for the entire 10 day period and never had a problem!

Customer Review: Worked well in Russia
Summary: 5 Stars

Bought this for a recent trip to Russia. Used it for charging batteries, laptop and small appliances. Did not use it for hair dryer, didn't want to take the chance. Worked flawlessly without need for adapters. Our hosts in Moscow were so impressed we left it with them as a thank you gift. It is quite heavy, but not a problem in a rolling suitcase and can get a little warm when pulling a heavy load. We will get another if we go overseas again.

Customer Review: Don't even bother.
Summary: 1 Stars

I bought this for use with a plug converter for an Australian outlet. I tried it out when I got it in my American outlet with a converter and it would only charge very low voltage things. My computer and my lamp were too heavy for it. It barely charged my cell phone. It's wimpy, heavy, and a waste of your time. Don't bother with it. I decided to return it before even owning it for a day because it is defective and doesn't perform as promised.
