I couldn't find my much larger and more expensive battery tester so ordered one of these after reading the reviews. I concur with other reviewers who find this handy. And I don't regret having a second battery tester as this is a great one to tuck into a kit for road use or whatever. It seems to work just fine once you get used to holding a battery in place and being sure contact is made. Recommended.Customer Review: A handy and easy to use battery tester

Works as advertised.Easy to use with instructions on top of tester itself regarding what type (with voltage) of battery it can test and how to align that battery to measure accurately.
If you require accuracy in terms of actual volt/amp rating then you need a multimeter.However for simple checks such as whether you need to change the TV remote battery or not,this meter will do the job well.

I bought this to replace one I lost. I am so glad I lost the other one as this tester is so easy to use by comparison. All you do is put the battery in the test area and close down the movable testing arm and you are done. Ease of use is important to me in gadgets because my idea of "high tech" is a paperclip. Also the price of this is only about $3 so how can you go wrong?Customer Review: Great Little Tester!

This is my second tester as I dropped and broke the first one.
In our age of digital electronics batteries are a necessity. This device is the cheapest and most convenient way to test them.

What? Grocery store rubberband?? Are you kidding or what?? This item is perfect and does exactly what its supposed to do at the cheapest price. With my amazon prime, I ordered my $3.85 item and received it in 2 days. This couldnt be a better item at the cheapest price and received fast enough. 5 stars all the way, without the rubber band (other reviews).
