I really like this battery tester. It's nothing fancy, but it tests every battery I have, AA, AAA, C, D, 9 volt, cell batteries, etc. Before I would always ask my husband, "Are these batteries good or bad?" He'd say "I don't know" so back in the drawer they would go. This is WELL worth the price to be able to clean out that battery drawer. Just remember to recycle your old batteries! Oh, and the free shipping with Amazon Prime is awesome. Can't beat it!Customer Review: About time

I don't know why I waited so long to get one of these. We were finally able to sort through all of the batteries and figure out what was good and what was bad. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is that we haven't had it very long, so I can't say much about longevity. It works great though and provided my 7 year old with a chore that he likes doing- testing and sorting the batteries. It's easy to read and easy to fit the batteries into place.Customer Review: Will always know if the batteries are still working

I always find batteries just lying around, not knowing if these are still good working batteries or if they need to be recycled. This SE Battery Tester is a lifesaver. All you need to do is put the battery's one end on the tester (negative), and slide the red lever to touch the other end of the battery (positive). It lets you know how much battery life is left, without the guessing. It saves money for not having to recycle still working batteries.Customer Review: Useful product at reasonable price

Very handy. Works on all popular battery sizes. Great way to determine strength of batteries that have been lying around the house for a long time. I have also tested batteries that I use in devices that take multiple batteries and can quickly determine if one or all of them need to be replaced. There are similar products on the market that likely work as well. This was one of the least expensive, is easy to use, seems durable and does the job.Customer Review: Worth it

This is a cheap plastic battery tester that works on all 1.5 volt (AAA, AA, C, D) and for 9 volt batteries. It works easily and quickly by pinching the batteries between the calipers or by holding 9 volt batteries against 2 sensors on the top of the meter. I appreciate that I have a way to check batteries that end up laying around the house from my boys. The quality is not heavy duty but I'd imagine it will last if it isn't abused.
