After upgrading from a stock 08 Tundra head unit to a double din navigation I needed a wiring harness for the install. I was a little worried because this product just said 1987 and up. I didn't think and up would mean all the way to 2008. After reading a few reviews it looked like this was the correct harness. I purchased for about $9 and it worked perfectly. I guess not much changes with the harnesses so dont be worried if you see 1987 and up. I have a friend who has a Tacoma and this worked for him as well. The install is very easy, you just match up the colors. You can opt to solder or punch the wires together. This will save you hours on your install and also save you from headaches. You do all the connecting outside of the vehicle and just click once you have it all setup. If you are looking for a double din cover I would also look into this company. They had one for my vehicle and it was also easy to install. Bottom line, if you are upgrading your stereo and it is well worth the extra $5-$10 to get this wiring harness.
