It seems crazy to me that dishwasher makers charge so much for replacement racks, because they ALL rust over time. Add to that the fact that they stop making the racks after a few years, and you have very little choice other than to replace the dishwasher when rust forms inside, as it undoubtedly will! I purchased this repair kit, and later one more bottle, in order to do some touch-up repairs on my racks. I used a dremel tool to remove what I could, then used up two bottles plus the caps to make it look usable again! I had to buy one more bottle to complete the job. All in all, I am pleased with the results considering what my only other option would have been. It is a bit time consuming, but - it works! Would recommend this to others who need to extend the life of their dishwasher! And, the seller is great - fast shipping!

Uber Goop liquid plastic comes in 3 colors (White, light blue & grey) so customers can match it to the color of their dishwasher racks. Easy paint on application and dries fast. Uber Goop liquid plastic coats damaged dishwasher racks waterproofing them and preventing further deterioration. Plastic tine caps and Uber Goop also repair damaged rack tines and protect new racks. Vinyl tine caps have the added benefit of protecting dishes from rust stains and chipping. Our product helps extend the life of your dishwasher racks saving you the cost of buying new ones at $60-$100 each.
