Purchased this as great price when compared to just buying cable at Home Depot. Roughly half the price. Unfortunately think I may have received a defective cable. Tested it by swapping out this cable for a known one already connected to my computer. Did not work. I believe it was because of the bad snap in connectors at each end. Once inserted I had a very difficult time getting them back out. Almost broke my router getting this cable disconnected. It has a slightly different snap tab then I've seen before and looks like it was either defective or slightly larger than normal.
The other thing to note is this is a patch cable and has flexible wires inside. If you are going to place wires permanently inside your walls you should use solid wire and/or have to use special flexible jack connectors on the wall plates. Didn't realize that until I did some additional research.
Ended up purchasing wire from Home Depot. Tossed this wire as it wasn't worth returning it or buying new connectors for the ends.
