I am a PC gaming fanatic and I've used many, many mousepads. This cloth mousepad has the best texture by far. It's very sensitive and smooth and works well with optical mice (some textures deflect the light and screw up the movement). It also has a good (but not great) grip on the table. There is no paint on the pad either, so it won't peel disgustingly as many other generic pads do. The only downside to this pad is that it gets dirty very easily. This pad may be more expensive than the generic pads out there, but it's a lot better than most of them, and well worth the price. The Goliathus is also one of the cheaper "gaming" pads from what I can tell.
Overall, if you want a soft, smooth, comfortable, and effective mousepad, the Goliathus is the way to go.
