I was looking for a tiny, bounce-able, flash for my 5D Mark II; something that wouldn't add any noticeable weight and would provide the tiniest bit of fill light. I'm shooting in a hospital for a non-profit organization that helps children with war-related wounds who can't be helped in their own or neighboring countries. Anyway, I bought the 5D Mark II because of the new lower noise levels at high ISOs so I wouldn't have to use flash. The images are turning out pretty good, but I need just a little more light.
Anyway, I tried this flash on my 5D and it wouldn't work, but it did work perfectly on the 50D and fit the bill for a light weight device with the ability to bounce, I'm just sorry it wouldn't work on the 5D.
