The Precision Design ET-65B Lens Hood is designed to prevent image-degrading lens flare by blocking stray light from striking the surface of the lens. This enables your lens to give you the sharpest photographs with the best contrast and most vivid colors. This lens hood also helps protect your lens from accidental impact by extending beyond the edge of the lens. Computer-designed, dedicated lens hoods match the specific focal length of the lens to provide maximum protection from lens flare without causing any undesirable vignetting (cutting off the edges of the image with darkened corners).

The 58mm 3-Piece Filter Kit includes a UV filter to protect the front element of your lens when you're taking pictures and reduce the adverse effects of ultraviolet light; an FLD filter to correct the sickly green cast from fluorescent lights; and a Polarizer filter to intensify contrast and color in order to produce breathtaking blue skies and vivid white clouds as well as to help eliminate unwanted reflections from glass, water, foliage, and other non-metallic surfaces outdoors.
