I purchased this antenna with not a lot of hope. I had an antenna before, and was only able to get one channel in. Once I opened this one, I looked at the size and thought that all hope was lost. I plugged it in, and surprisingly - I was able to get 5-6 channels. This is not many at all, but it is the best I have found. I live in a townhouse, and it seems next to impossible to get reception with an antenna. It was definitely worth the $30 I paid for it.Customer Review: Mine also came with broken screwthreads

It's never a good sign when your new electronics box has a rattling noise. Opened the box to find the plastic screw threads were shattered. Came back and checked the reviews - I'm far from the first reviewer to note this. The product itself is so small that I'm almost tempted to return & re-order to see if I'd be lucky enough to get one of the not broken units, but to avoid another two week order / return process, I'm going to find something else.Customer Review: The PowerQ antenna works better than anything I've tried before

This antenna worked great on my 40" Panasonic TV. Compared to other antennas from Terk or RCA, this one is much smaller and performs better than expected. I was able to pick up over 25 stations in my area the first time. I have it powered with AC adapter that comes with it, so I just leave it on all the time. The picture is amazing at the full 1080i which people that have cable or satellite have to pay extra for. It's goodbye cable bill for me!Customer Review: Very Easy to install and use

I am so glad I got this. It was much smaller than I was expecting, and now we can pick up our HD broadcast channels! The one drawback is that my area really only has ABC in broadcast. But that's hardly the antenna's fault.
The sound and picture are great. They flicker to "Signal too weak" for less than a second every 20 minutes or so, but I also have it as far from the window as possible.
In my opinion, a great buy!

Got this 5 days after ordering... HUGE disappointment... case split open with rattling broken bits of black plastic parts inside. Even the batteries were corroded and leaking inside box. Very disappointed since was planning on this for gift. Now tha hassle of sending back and for some reason not eligible for replacement (only refund) Amazon needs to screen theor sellers beter if this type of stuff happens!
