I have this antenna connected to a small flat screen tv in my kitchen which is not hooked up to cable. I live in an open area and the antenna is right by a window. My hopes were high after reading the description and some reviews of users receiving 25+ channels with this antenna. Sadly, I only receive 6 channels with it. On the plus side, the picture on the channels I do receive is sharp although frequent brief drop-outs of picture and sound are the norm. I feel this product is way overpriced, and I wish I would have returned it. I have a feeling there is probably something a lot cheaper that would do the same inadequate job.Customer Review: Fantastic

I've given up on the high cost of cable/satellite. And even Comcast's local channels only was too much for too little for me. (Hey, I've got an iPad)
How good is it? Depends on your location, I'm sure. Other reviews tend to confirm this
I get PBS, NBC, ION and Fox with great quality in Lake Worth, Florida. And some junk stations too. As much as I want or need
The product seems quite sturdy.
And setup was a breeze.
Downside: I have to get up to move the antenna to switch from PBS to NBC :-(
DON'T FORGET TO BUY A CONVERTER BOX LIKE I DID! (Also on Amazon)

I purchased this antenna based on the positive reviews and I'm happy to report that it works as advertised. When I opened up the package I was surprised to see its small size. I've tried two other antennas and this beat them hands down. I picked up additonal channels (21) total. Five more than the other antennas. All come in crystal clear. It was a bit more pricey than the others but I get more channels and better quality pictures. This worked great until it shorted out just 6 weeks after we started using it. Wasted my money.
**Update: Within 24 hours of posting this review the seller contacted me to ship a brand new unit to replace the defective unit. The customer service was prompt and courteous. I appreciate good customer service as it's so hard to find these days. I knew I couldn't return the item to amazon as I didn't keep the original packaging but the seller didn't require that. The new unit was shipped and received in a matter of days and is working great.
I would order products from this seller again.

I bought this product after seeing all the great initial reviews. It is a nice antenna and I like its low profile. Interestingly it has not performed better than the old pair of RCA rabbit ears I used before. To its credit, it is about the same so if you don't want the eyesore of the larger antennas, this may be the product for you. I agree with the reviewer who said that the UHF comes in well but it doesn't always pick up the VHF. I have tried optimizing the antenna location for best results - however, the cable is not very long so the options are limited.
