Customer Review: Cheap KLIC-8000 Charger

You want my simple review of the Power 2000 RTC-148 Charger for Kodak KLIC-8000? It's cheap! It does not charge my KLIC-8000 re-chargeable batteries AT ALL. I left a dead Kodak brand KLIC-8000 re-chargeable battery in the RTC-148 charger overnight (around 13 hours of charge) only to find the battery just as dead as before the "charge". The light is supposed to show red when it detects an uncharged battery and green once fully charged... However, the unit displayed a green light throughout its charge. The product DOES come with a convenient car charge adapter (yay.....), but that also, was unsuccessful at charging.
The reviews here seem like a mixed bag; some work, some don't... Some are happy, most aren't. I found out the hard way. I thought about returning the P!O!S, but the cost of shipping and the chance of receiving another defective unit swayed my decision. Your choice. Spend a little more $$, get the Kodak charger and it pays for itself over time. The RTC-148 charger is going in the trash tonight.
