I wanted small portable speakers to use with my iPod during a recent vacation. This one had good reviews and was very reasonably priced. I am thrilled with it! The only negative I can give is that it was a little difficult figuring out how to use the enclosed foam pieces to customize the space for my particular iPod. I wish the manufacturer had included some images or more clearly written directions. We use this speaker system daily for my daughter's itouch which includes a speech program. They worked great for about 1 month, then we had trouble with the batteries staying in. I think the springs bent. The batteries are difficult to get in and I would recommend using rechargeables as the batteries wear down quickly. We also blew a speaker recently. This is probably a good product for someone who doesn't use it as frequently as we do. I think it's just not a durable product.Customer Review: Every iPod owner should buy this

I absolutely love my iMainGo. It's great for traveling, using at the beach, or entertaining friends outside. The speakers are loud and provide good quality without any noticeable distortion. The case is very durable and includes a clear window that allows you to easily change tracks or lower the volume.
Of all the iPod accessories on the market, I'd put this at the top of the list as a must have.
I promise you won't be disappointed if you purchase this.

I was worried that the cheap price and the size of this speaker would effect the sound on this speaker but I was wrong. I read the reviews before buying this, trusting them, and I am glad I did. This little speaker is just amazing. You can bring it everywhere, anytime. great for parties and it also protects your ipod! I carry the speaker almost everywhere i go now. After a million products came out that said they could provide a decent sound system while protecting the case, I finally found the iMaingo. It's heavy duty enough to protect the pod, but only weighs about 2 pounds. I've dropped it 4 times now from decent heights and nothing has happened. It's also loud! I put on a table on a deck outside at a recent party and it held it's own against 8 loud adults. It's the best portable sound system around. Trust me!
