I love this little item the only thing I would have liked was an external head phone jack. I realize this is made to play through the speakers but it would be nice to just leave the Ipod in the case and plug in headphones if needed also the on/off switch is on the inside would like it better on the exterior surface for convenience over all good product and much less expensive than similar products at electronics store. Sound quality is good but don't expect stellar Stereo after all this is an in expensive item but does the job well. I love it and think the sound quality is what I expected and I am pleased with my purchase especially for the price.Customer Review: Great product but short of 5 stars because...

This coupled with a good iPod is the best electronic pacifier in the world. We use this for our 4 yr old & 2 yr old, particularly when traveling (long car rides, plane rides, airports, etc.) so they can watch their videos. Children, especially under the age of 3, don't like wearing headphones so this is a great solution for them.
I definitely recommend the product.

i bring my speakers to school to play during free periods and lunch time, and when i hang around my friends house or outside, and for that the sound is good enough. it was a little bigger than i expected and putting in the ipod is a bit of a hassle (i have a second generation nano, and it is very difficult to scroll through the plastic). However, i find that if you take out the ipod holder, it is a perfect fit for the video ipod. for someone who switches between earphones and speakers though, strapping in my ipod is a bit of a pain. but i bring it with me almost everyday, because it's easier to share music with my friends.Customer Review: Good Product

I got this for my Dad, who is pretty low tech. I tested it out on my I-pod before I gave it to him so I could teach him how to use it and I was impressed with the sound. My only complaint is my dad has a Sony Walkman MP3 player, which does not have the volume control on the front, so it would have been helpful to have a way to change the volume from the outside. I called my Dad the other day and thought he was in a bar, but he was just listening to his MP3 player with the awesome speakers i got him! I travel a lot and wanted a very small speaker for my Ipod that still sounded good. The IMainGo is it! It's hardly bigger than the Ipod itself and sounds amazing! No it's not a hi-fi stereo system but look at the size of the thing (not to mention the price). The sound quality and volume are fantastic. I really like that you can still use the Ipod controls without opening the case. I take mine everywhere. Buy one, you won't be disappointed.
PS- IMainGo customer service is great, I had a problem with mine and they exchanged it lightning fast, no questions asked.
