I shopped around for similar speakers at local shops and places like Best Buy and Circuit City. All others were way over priced. The Polks were a great buy. I use them as the rear speakers in a surround sound. They sound great. The speakers come with a cutout template and a template to mask the speakers if you want to paint them. I just recently remodeled my garage. I thought it would be nice to add some speakers. I already had a pair of these speakers from my old house. I installed the four in the ceiling. They look great and sound great for the price. Only around 100$ a pair shipped. I had these installed at my old house as rear surround speakers and they were perfect. Especially if you don't intend to crank the volume up to the max, these speakers will produce.Customer Review: Polk Audio are the real deal...

So I have need for in wall speakers in 4 rooms...I go out and buy an inferior brand of speakers for cost savings for 1 room. The room sounded like total crap. I then go and invest in 2 pairs of the RCi60 and 1 pair of the RCi6S and they brought the rooms to life. These speakers have spectacular sound and depth.
They are also very discrete in the wall when you paint them.
All round 5/5...do not hesitate.

These speakers sound great! Remember to put insulation behind the speakers. It increases the base response significantly. I installed these in the bathroom and we love them. I am an audio engineer and I am very impressed with the clarity and base response for a ceiling installation. Installation is a breeze. After you cut the holes, just tighten 4 screws. The package includes a very useful template for installation and painting. I used a spray gun to paint the grill and the speakers are virtually seamless with the wall. Two of these speakers were used as rear channels for our surround sound system. The tweaters were simple to point downward to direct sound towards the seating area. Sound quality is very good. It would be nice if they offered a 4" version.
