Customer Review: Very Good Speakers For The Money

For the money, these are very good speakers. I've got two pairs as my surround speakers in a 7.2 setup, and I'm very happy with the sound. I'm sure there are probably better sounding in-ceiling speakers, but I couldn't be happier considering the price I paid.
Installing these is a real snap. The most difficult part is running the speaker wire between floors and getting the speakers lined up on the ceiling. Once you have those parts complete, cutting the holes and installing the speakers literally takes 5 minutes. The speakers are paintable, which makes them blend in with the ceiling very well.

These are a great set of speakers and were easy to install. The provided templates were excellent and made the install even easier. The face plates were a little difficult to remove sinc you do not want to damage them, but once I figured out to just try to pull them out slowly and a little at a time, the other speaker was a breeze. Next time they should just leave them unassembled so you don't have to perform this step.
Again, the are great speakers and they look great for any surround sound system. They fit flush to the wall or ceiling and many have thought they were just recessed lighting.

I built a attached 1000 SF garage onto my home. I purchased 2 pairs of these thinking with a price of 85 bucks,not to expect much...boy was i wrong! 4 6.5" 2 way speakers nearly fill the entire garage and even pour out onto the patio too. great sound quality,very little distortion when cranked up. I will suggest these to any who arent audiophyles looking for great sound at great price...and half of what best buy wanted for a set of ceiling speakers too! I also suiggest buying your in wall rated wire on amazon for like 30% of what our friends at best buy want for speaker wires.Customer Review: Great speakers for small room

Purchased and installed two sets of these speakers in two bedrooms after previously installing and enjoying the larger 8" version in my living room. They have great sound (even better than the 8"), are a snap to install, and the directional tweeter is a nice feature. 10 min. max to install. To maximize the bass, I always build a "box" between the joists by placing a piece of plywood at each end (approx. 24" apart) and eliminate any insulation. These babies thump! Can feel it in the floor. Fit, finish and overall quality is outstanding and one can't beat Amazon's price.Customer Review: Very good value

I have always been an infinity speaker man, but these speakers were too hard to pass up. They were easy to install, sound great, and have a lot of bass for their size. The upper frequency is a little off for me ( i like the brightness of a kappa tweeter) but still they are very good. Makes for a great remote location speaker, or for some discrete surround sound.
