I was hesitant to purchase but these Rock. They sound the best when listening to classical. Nice crisp sound. The bracket is somewhat integrated into the speaker which hides it alittle to make a nice install.
You should never have to remove the grills but you will need a screwdriver or something 'cause the grills are on tight. That's not big enough for a negative. Just mount and wire & so sweet sounding.

These speakers had nice separation and spatial presence, and good mid to high frequency response. They did need a bass boost to bring up the low end, give them some power and they will rock your outside world. Only had them for a month, so I can't say how well they hold up over the long haul. They sounded so good, I bought a second set as back-ups. Highly recommended and one heck of a deal at $75 a pair!Customer Review: My tone-impaired ears could not appreciate any better.

I replaced a set of Bose that had given in to the elements over time. This were much less expensive and I think just as good as the Bose were in their younger days. I would ask for any better sound than I am getting from these speakers. They live in a tough salt water environment and seem to be thriving, and giving us a lot of listening enjoyment. I put a pair of these on my back deck, and connected it to my Yamaha RX-V3900's second zone. I was absolutely blown away - and so were the rest of my friends. I'm no audiophile, but I am a music lover. The sound is warm and full. Absolutely do not hesitate to buy these speakers! I also have the suggested in-wall speakers in a 5.1 surround sound setup in my living room - another fantastic performer!Customer Review: Great speakers

Bought these speakers to have some music for my pool in the backyard and used them for a couple months this summer. They sound great and don't get distorted at high volumes. I mounted them under the eave of the roof and installation was pretty easy. The mounting bracket lets you tilt the speaker to where you want the sound. I'd recommend these to anybody looking for a nice set of outdoor speakers.
