I've been using the headset for two days now and I really like it. The sound quality is very good and most of the callers on the other end say it sounds excellent, even better than the handset on my phone. A few callers have said they hear an echo on their end, but I don't know what to do about that.
I bought this headset because I have neck problems, and now I no longer have to hold the phone in my neck while I type. Problem solved. I just have to get used to not picking up the handset.
I've never worn an earpiece of any kind, so putting it on is a little awkward, but once it is on it is very comfortable.
My phone has a built in headset feature so I didn't need the optional lifter. I press the button on the earpiece to answer a call or get a dial tone. I can answer the phone from anywhere in the office as long as I know my phone is ringing.

wow - maybe it's just me. I have been using the CS70N for about six months - daily, I get customers complaining that they don't hear me, or that they are loosing me when I walk into the warehouse. I can make it about twenty (20) feet from my desk before this happens. My original headset, the plantronics CS50 was awesome - I used it for over five years and never had a problem- I could walk all the way to behind the back of our building (about 120 feet)and never loose a call. When I first received the CS70N, I was getting the complaints and I thought it was defective, so I sent it back and got a new replacement - Did not solve my problem. I wish I could say it worked great, like many of the other reviews, but for me, it is a huge disappointment. We also have someone using the CS351N, and having no problems with it, so I guess I will be buying another one of those to replace CS70NCustomer Review: Excellent style and function

I had used an older model plantronics headset in my office for the past 15 years. It held up very well. The sound was wonderful and it was very durable. It was still working, but I wanted to go to a wireless device. I decided to go back to plantronics because I had loved the older one so much. I was not disappointed! It looks very stylish and the sound and comfort is great. The only thing I would really mention is that you must keep it plugged in all the time. If you unplug it whenever you are away from the office, the battery continues to run down. I experienced this the first time I used it. After that I have had no problems with the battery lasting me the whole day. I do however put it back in the charge cradle while on my lunch hour. I would recommend this phone to anyone looking for quality sound and comfort.Customer Review: Comfort and Convenience

I answer a lot of calls when working at my computer, and often I need to be online while I talk. Trying to cradle a phone while typing on the keyboard is not much fun, and using an earpiece, portable phone, w/ belt clip is not much better.
This product solves the problem and allows me to even walk around and answer calls. The quality is typical Plantronics ... excellent. The range is also good. I can walk down for a cup of coffee, take a stretch break, or just about anything close to my desk, and never lose a connection.
I've tried various other headpieces over the years but I keep returning to Plantronics. I always get the best performance and quality from them.

This was the best buy in my life though I had to modify it slitly to work with my phone it's operation is flawless. The sound quality is better than the handset and the range is off the hook. As a independent Computer Consultant is important for me to have both hands free this fits that bill very nicely, it allows me to be more productive and give a professional service to my customers... I love this product!!!!
Just a qick update, I've been using this headset everyday for the last 2 years and it's still going strong, its been a life saver with business allowing me to multitask while working. It is expensive but I've already had my money's worth from it. Great value for the money
