Would have been helpful to know that this doesnt work without the handset lifter. You push a button at your ear to access the phone line but unless the handset is off the hook, you dont get access. So your choices are to take it off the hook each time (which makes it not so wireless) or get the handset lifter as well that lifts the handset for you. Other than that i am very happy with the product. It has good reception, I can hear well and it has a nice range so you dont have to be on top of your phone for the handset lifter to lift the handset.Customer Review: Tinny sound, Jabra GN9350e is better

Workmanship is top notch. It works first time, easy to put in the cradle, comes with many different earpieces. But this and the CS55 have the same problem: tinny Plantronics sound. Better get the Jabra GN9350e instead, which has significantly better, more natural sound quality when you speak. Also, the earphone on the Plantronics is MUCH worse than the Jabra. CS50/55 both work well with Skype, as does the Jabra. But both perform much worse with Teamspeak. Probably a Teamspeak issue; wired headsets will give much better quality with TS.Customer Review: Great For Work

Great investment! I have been using this Headset since Feb 2006 and since then I have bought 5 more for some of my staff. All I can say is you will be very happy with these and the increased productivity. Even when we switched over the new Cisco phone system it worked perfectly (once we configured it, 10 min). You can travel a pretty good distance from the base however if there was one thing that I would want it would be for that range to be extended. I can only go half way across my office (we have the whole floor) before it cuts off.Customer Review: Been using the same one for 6 years now

I've been using this product for 6 years now - Monday thru Friday, at least 5 to 6 hours talk time everyday, and it's still working like a champ. It's amazing that the rechargeable battery is still taking full charges.
I like this much better Plantronics' later bluetooth model - the range is just too small. With the CS50, I can roam around the office - or even venture out to the parking lot - and still continue my phone conversation. This is the best Plantronics product ever.

I've been using this headset model for a few years now. I just recently bought a replacement (same model) as the first one I had finally started to have intermittent issues after a few years of heavy use. The sound quality is great, it's comfortable to wear, and I'm able to be mobile to pick up print jobs, go to a coworker's desk, etc. while on the phone. The battery life is great as long as I remember to keep the headset in the cradle overnight. I'd highly recommend it.
