After spending a lot of money for a wireless replacement to my older wired office Plantronics S10A headset, I was sorely disappointed. The sound quality on both the transmit and receive is tinny and distorted. A buzzing sound accompanies the voice in the earpiece, and each person I spoke with complained that I must be using a cell phone with a bad connection. I spent two days trying all the many adjustments for different sound levels on both speaking and listening, but nothing got rid of the buzzing, hissing, and distortion. I went back to my old wired S10A, and was rewarded with a HUGE improvement in sound quality - a reasonable tradeoff for living with the wire. I sent the CS50 back for a refund!

The Plantronics CS50 Wireless Office Headset System brings the ultimate in mobility and handsfree conversations to your phone. The CS50 gives you eight hours of talk time and the wireless convenience to roam up to 300 feet with secure conversations. And taking or ending a call is as simple as pressing a button with the optional Plantronics HL10 Lifter.The Plantronics wireless office headset is a versatile office communication tool. This next-generation headset system allows the user three hundred feet of operating distance and a full eight hours of operating use. The 900 MHz technology delivers clear, private and completely secure communication. With the Plantronics integrated IntelliStand, your days of complex headset-base logistics is over. Simply pick up the headset from the base and the call will be answered. While away from the main station, it only takes one button to answer or end a call. Wearing options are plentiful: wear the headset either over the ear or over the head. There is also a behind the head option available as an accessory. Recharging time is quick: full recharge in three hours, eighty percent recharge in less than two hours. A mute button is included on the headset for quick communication decisions. The microphone incorporates noise-canceling technology to improve your office communications.
