After months of research and waiting, finally I got the Pioneer 5070HDTV. Everything went smooth. Delivery Guys set up an appointment, They brought it inside, unpacked and place it on TV stand, They did not hook it upto the Cable.Only turned the TV to show it works. They offered me to get the empty box away. To put the speaker you are on your own, it takes 3-4 minutes with 3 scrows.Remeber, if you bought within 30 days and if the price went down , Call customer sevice for adjustment, it worked for me ($200). Quality on this Tv is unbelievble. My friend bought a 50" Samaung and his HDTV quality is almost as good as my standard TVwithout HDTV.Customer Review: Pioneer's Gift To Human Kind.

Like every person on this review page I will say the same things and try to add abit more to emphasize the greatness of this set. It's amazing breathtaking and more. You never watched TV untill you come in vision contact with this set, it will leave you glued to your seat and you will refuse to leave your house....unreal colors and contrast amzingly easy to use and woweee what a look on the wall, leaves the competition in the dust. Guys if you are in the market for a plasma TV this is your ultimate Choice non other will deliver what this set can. We bought a Toshiba 50 inch plasma TV. It's HD quality was fine, but SD was really unwatchable. Then after further research and comparing SD quality on a Pioneer and Panasonic, I decided to go with the Pioneer PDP 5070. This TV is simply a delight to watch. The picture quality is just stunning. Even SD quality is very nice. The TV design with the all black border looks very sharp. It's certainly worth paying few hundreds extra to get this model. Amazon's price was over $600 less than at a retail store. So I took the chance and ordered it online. As always, the whole ordering and receiving the shipment was a very positive experience.Customer Review: So far its amazing!

I made a massive upgrade from a 1990s 19" color tv to this 50" plasma HD monster. The picture really looks great - esp. when watching HD TV or DVDs. Watching the superbowl in HD was quite the experience. I don't know about sound because I bought a Sony Dream System, which is good for DVDs but less good for TV. I am planning to mount it on the wall, but still getting the brackets together - the TV is quite bulky, so that will be a 3 person job. Arranging for shipping and delivery was also pretty convenient and easy. The professional reviews on the product are also quite impressive. Pioneer is the one best plasma displays you can get for your home. I've owned this beauty for six months now. I bought this after months of research in various online forums. HD channels show up in amazing details and colors are vivid. Compared to other plasmas Pioneer displays SD (standard-definition) pretty well. As more than 70% of current channels I watch are still in SD (including international channels), this really matters. Earlier Pioneers use to cost more, now their current price point is well worth. Don't worry too much about burn-in. Go for it if you are int market for 50" display!!
