Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Pioneer FH-P8000BT Double-Din In-Dash CD/MP3/WMA/AAC Receiver with Built-In Bluetooth, iPod Control, and Rear USB InputCustomer Review: Surpassed my expextations Summary: 4 Stars
Installation went well, purchased the appropriate wiring harness and antenna adapter for my car, followed the wiring diagram and plugged it in. The double din fits as if it was factory installed, looks good. Installed four new Pioneer speakers at the same time and the whole package sounds great. The two features that I am most impressed with are the USB input and the bluetooth. I have a couple of 4 gb USB Zip drives I plug in to give me hours of playback. As for the bluetooth I tried three different portable blutooth devices with my phone and had trouble hearing on all of them to the point I quit using them. With this unit source audio is silenced when receiving a phone call and the call is played over the car speakers. The calls are crystal clear on both ends. When first connecting my phone it downloaded my address book and allows me to scroll through the address book to make calls directly from the Pioneer. Displays caller ID when receiving calls. I am spoiled now, can not imagine getting by without it.
Customer Review: GOTTA LOVE THIS RADIO.... Summary: 5 Stars
Everything I expected. I had this installed on my 2005 Altima and the radio sound really good. As you know the factory Altima radio sounds good but when you try listening to the radio it sounds bad, this radio sounds amazing on this new radio nice and clear. Everything from the Base and clarity. The bluetooth option works really good,Once I walk into my car and turn it on my Iphone automatically syncs with my radio. I can't seem to find any bad things to say about this radio, why would it get a negative rating? The way I see it is your getting $1000 options on a $245 radio, I could care less about a T.V on my radio thats why I got this radio. Love it and u will too trust me. Still trying to figure out how play my music through it but I'm sure I will figure that out soon. Trust me you wont regret buying this radio at all. If anybody has figured out how to play music through your Iphone please contact me and let me know how u did it.
Thanks

Customer Review: Great stereo, exactly what I was looking for. Summary: 5 Stars
I installed this in my 2005 F150 Supercrew with stock door speakers about a month ago. No sub. Sounds great! Plenty of power for me. Might upgrade front door speakers and add a sub at a later date. But totally happy with purchase. Bluetooth works awesome with My Touch 3G phone. I can play internet radio through the blutooth and still take phone calls when they come in! Everyone I talk to using bluetooth says they can't tell the difference. Big plus as I spend a ton of time in the truck and on cell phone. Now hands free.
Put my cd's on a thumb drive and access them through the USB cable. Don't have to carry a cd holder now or fumble changing them out of the player while driving.
I haven't tried an IPod yet. I did order the dash install kit just incase and I did need it to install this unit. The unit will not fill the entire space of the original head unit. Great upgrade from stock with lots of features and custom settings to set the sound the way you like it.
Customer Review: Great Addition to A Vehicle Summary: 5 Stars
Let me start off by saying I am extremely picky when it comes to what to put into my vehicles. I can spend countless hours online and in stores browsing and never come across anything I like. This deck caught my eye and I fell in love with it at first sight. It's a gorgeous, black, with blue lighting, that compliments any vehicle.
The buttons are very big, and easy to press, without miss clicking and messing things completely up! It comes with blue tooth for your mobile device, which comes in handy, and the audio it outputs is crisp, clear, and makes stock speakers sound like high-quality top of the line speakers.
The installation was pretty simple. Only needed to buy the usual wiring harness, and a mounting kit.
I have had no snags with the system as of yet, and with over $100 knocked off the price over any retailers, or Pioneer's website themselves, this is a steal.
Customer Review: Works great with iPod and phone Summary: 5 Stars
I haven't bought anything but Alpine in years. Unfortunately, with most of the Alpine decks, you can only control the iPod from the deck. This proves difficult and frustrating, especially with large libraries. Since the iPod Touch has such a great interface, it's simple to control. This Pioneer deck allows you to easily choose if you want the iPod to be in control or the deck. Plus, when the iPod is in control, you can still track forward and back with the deck.
Another nice feature is the built-in Bluetooth. It paired with my phone, copied my address book to the deck, and auto-connects whenever I get in the car. Also, it mutes the music when a call comes in. The supplied microphone lets you choose the best placement for your car too.
The display is bright. However, I discovered a useful feature. You can easily set the display to turn off after a few seconds. Very nice.
