Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Pioneer FH-P8000BT Double-Din In-Dash CD/MP3/WMA/AAC Receiver with Built-In Bluetooth, iPod Control, and Rear USB InputCustomer Review: Pioneer Car FHP8000BT Double Din Summary: 5 Stars
Hands down, the best HU I've ever bought. I have an iPhone and really enjoy being able to control the ipod features with the head unit itself. I thought it was somewhat user friendly (once you get it figured out it's very simple), and you can do everything from search from a song by artist to play you your playlists you created on iTunes. Music resumes from where you last left off as soon as you plug in the iPhone. The handsfree phone sounds amazing as well to both you and the person you are talking to. Since it downloads your phonebook into the unit itself, it's very easy to take and make a call (and screen a call with the caller ID). When I get into my car I just plug in the ipod cord to the bottom of my iPhone, then put it in my center counsol because you don't need to do anything else with it. Caller ID, Song ID, etc. are all on the display. If the iPhone ever gets A2DP then this HU will be ready with its full bluetooth audio capability. The audio options allowed me to edit the sound to make my stereo sound like I got new speakers as well (fuller bass and louder)!
Customer Review: No regrets (as yet) Summary: 5 Stars
I purchase this basically for the iPod and Bluetooth features. I had it installed into my Hyundai Tucson (2009), no cutting of the dashboard was necessary.
I immediately connected my iPod and Blackberry devices and they both worked perfectly. I now have to go to the manual to fine tune the devices, that's the rough part. This unit has so many features I wonder if I will use or remember all. Don't try and figure it out on your own, you will get lost.
Don't purchase the iPod cable that's recommended, it comes with one and a USB cable. The manual is on CD so be prepared to do some printing.
The music is crisp and clear and that's with the vehicle's factory installed speakers. It plays my burnt CDs and MP3s. The reception with the phone is absoutly clear, I look forward to someone calling me. Now have to transfer the phone's phonebook to the unit.
I do not regret this purchase.

Customer Review: Finally no static playing my iPod Summary: 4 Stars
I bought this for my 2004 Ford Explorer - for the phone features and for playing my iPod nano directly, instead of through an adapter. I couldn't be happier with the quality of the unit. The sound is infinetely adjustable, the display is easy to read, the controls are friendly, once you understand the system. I can play music off of a flash drive, CD, iPod, AM/FM, so I'm never bored.
The phone is trickier to figure out, but the microphone quality is clear and being able to turn up the volume on a phone call is great, especially with increased noise on highway drives. During the initial setup, be SURE to set the phone volume to what you want FIRST, because changing it is more difficult than it should be. My Blackberry Pearl connected easily while the address book transfer was a bit trickier.
The phone has a feature to prevent feedback - I've got it on all the time and at the highest setting. Makes for super clear conversations, according to those who are hearing me on the other end. Great product, I would recommend to anyone.
Customer Review: Pioneer FH-P8000BT Double-Din In-Dash CD/MP3/WMA/AAC Receiver Summary: 5 Stars
This receiver is great. There is nothing bad that I have found with this receiver. It takes a litle bit to get used to the knob that controls most of the functions, but once you figure it out it makes listening to music in you vehicle easier. I use the remote a lot and it works great. The bluetooth is awesome, just push one button to answer calls and another to hang up. You can sync your phone book to you radio and the radio shows you who is calling on the screen and when you answer it automatically turns off the music and your phone comes through the speakers in you car. The USB port works good to. That's what I use for my MP3 player and the song info shows up on the screen on the radio. All in all I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a good double din reciever just remember that you might need an installation bracket, wire harness for your specific vehicle, and maybe an antena adapter depending on what type of antena cable you vehicle uses. My vehicle uses a smaller antena connector than normal.
Customer Review: great deck to pair with my iphone Summary: 4 Stars
I bought this deck to install in my 2001 Toyota Camry, it fits perfectly and looks great. The bluetooth call quality is very good, and the ability to play and charge my iPhone through the USB port is great. I would definitely recommend this deck for anyone with a double-DIN size opening in their car who wants to be able to take calls through the stereo and play their iPod without having to buy any additional adapters.
Two small complaints though. The remote that came with it is not very sturdy, mine is already coming apart at the edges. And there is no pause button on either the deck or the remote. There is a mute button, but no pause. Pause can only be reached by going into the playback menu. This is annoying, but had I known about it before it would not have kept me from buying.
This deck is a great value, looks cool, and works well. What else could you want? I installed it myself and it was a breeze, just pick up a wiring harness for your particular car and you're all set.
