I really only use the bluetooth. A simpler receiver may have been a better choice. Overall I'm happy with the purchase, but I wish devices could initiate bluetooth sessions with the unit. As it sits, the stereo can pair with devices, but not the other way around. Not a big deal, but when it fails, it never tries again. My phone does indeed try over and over, so it works out great with other stereos... but with this one, if I miss the initial pairing, I have to manually interact with it to get the pairing to go through.Customer Review: Flexible and sounds good

The pioneer has it all. Blue tooth works well after you learn how to pair your phone to it. The instructions provided by pioneer did not work. I had to experiment a bit until I found a way to do it. However, it still won't download my contacts. The hands free phone interupt is flawless. the tone and sub controls are incredibly flexible allowing you several selections for the bandpass of the sub and crossover of the main speakers. Sat radio is a great feature to add easily. Ipod integration works perectly too.Customer Review: A Must Read

This is a great Unit! Easy to connect to with the cell phone and ipod, also the mic is awsome and sound quality is pretty good too. If you are buying this for a vehicle with a factory installed amplifier (i ordered for a 08 mustang). When you install/have it installed you will need a 1k inline transistor on the remote amp switch. Costs pennies on the dollar and will keep the loud pop sound from comming through the speakers. Nice bright display easy to read.
Not only that the price is right on!!

Receiver is great! The iPOD interface works well and the search feature is handy. It has a number of display and audio settings that allow you to customize it. It takes alittle while to get use to the buttons and features. Display is hard to see on bright days but not a big issue. Bluetooth works well. Very nice to be hands free with the phone. Installed an aux jack which works well also. Since my purchase, 2 other family members have purchased this receiver. Very happy with it.Customer Review: A bit disappointed.

I ordered this to use along with my iPod touch 4th gen. Installation went fine and easy enough for my first car radio install, however it refuses to connect to my iPod through BT audio. The USB cable is also completely unresponsive to my iPod, does not charge or sync. The audio patch cable however does work, and is my only option for playing my audio collection in my car. I tested BT audio with also an iPhone 3Gs and iPhone 4, which also do not sync via bluetooth audio.
