Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Eclipse E2 Sensor Cleaner for Digital SLRs with Tin-Oxide sensorsCustomer Review: Use the original version Summary: 2 Stars
The original Eclipse version of this product (methyl alcohol) is better at cleaning the sensor. The E2 version is okay if you have no other choice. it was created to avoid problems of air travel restrictions.

Customer Review: Gets the job done. Summary: 5 Stars
I used this with self-made sensor swaps (SensorWand + PEC-PAD wipes) and cleaned my Nikon DSLR sensors. The result has been great. It is 2 oz bottle, a lot more than the 1/2 oz bottle that comes with a digital survival kit that is sold here. Highly recommended.
Customer Review: Better than Eclipse for recent Nikon DSLRS Summary: 5 Stars
Recent Nikon DSLRS like the d80 and d300 have an ITO coating on the sensor, which can be scratched with regular Eclipse (methyl alcohol). so if you have one of those cameras, you need this to clean your sensor. remember, a little dab will do ya.
Customer Review: Good enough to clean sensors Summary: 4 Stars
Used jointly with sensor swabs type 2 to clean Nikon D80 sensor. Nothing special, I have almost whole bottle left. I spent 5 swabs to clean my sensor for a first time. Experience - all you need.
Customer Review: Gets the job done! Summary: 5 Stars
This cleaner gets the job done. My D3 has some unique sensor spots that looks like grease spots that gets cleaned easily with E2 swipes. It works very well!
