The Pec Pad is exactly as advertised. I used them to clean archived 35mm kodachrome slides. The pads allowed even application of the cleaning solution. The pads also removed the solution with out leaving any streaks or lint. Overall, the product performs as expected. The only thing is that the package is a bit difficult to open without exposing all the pads. A fairly minor issue though.Customer Review: Helpful for cleaning slides

This is a good product for polishing off smudges on old slides. Usually, just a blast of air or a light brushing with a lens brush to remove dust will do, but when things get a bit more smudgy it's good to have a supply of these on hand. One can rub slides with these quite a bit without scratching as they are very non-abrasive. You can combine with a little 99% rubbing alcohol to good effect.Customer Review: Does a good job with 8mm & 16mm film

We use this product with their film cleaner to remove dust & hairs from 8mm film. Most of the time we cut each 4x4 into quarters as we don't want too much cloth to get tangled up in the film as we run it through the projector while cleaning. No real issues I can think of - of course, while we use the film cleanser solution we tend to forget a lot. That stuff is potent.

I am an amateur astronomer. I use these to clean my eyepieces.These non-abrasive wipes work very well and I highly recomend them. I tried using plain kleenex on lenses and lint was suprisingly left behind and quite noticeable.But when I switched to these lint free wipes I got the performace I had paid for. Just remember that if you are using any solution just use a few drops.Customer Review: works great

these wipes work really well. although not perfectly lint free, it is more than acceptable. nothing a blast of air won't clear away. they are sized right so you can use one wipe for one lens cleaning. if you are using cleaning solution with it, use only a tiny bit as this pad doesn't really absorb liquid, and using too much solution will require multiple wipes to dry up.
