Customer Review: Beware of the CAT
Summary: 4 Stars

Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Program (What's this?)
This is a nice looking, modern stylish clock radio.

First the negatives:
The buttons that control this clock can be a bit confusing, are spread all around the top and sides of the unit instead of centralize. Fortunately, most are used very infrequently so it isn't irritating.

The second is why I titled my review the way I did. The extended antenna is a wire with a clear rubber ball on it. If you have a cat or cats, beware since our cat loves swatting at little rubber balls attached to strings or wires... in this case the antenna for the clock.

Other than that this is a great little clock radio.
Our old one is almost 5-8 times the size of this one and the sound is no better despite the much larger speakers. Size doesn't always equate to quality of sound.

A number of people have complained about the size of the projected time from this clock radio. Well all I can say is it is easily readable in a dark room like a bedroom which is exactly what this is meant for.
I personally don't want bright lights playing across my ceiling when I am trying to sleep. If I did, then a neon sign would be just the thing but that isn't what this is meant for. It is meant to allow you to glance at the ceiling and see what time it is when you awaken during the night and this does exactly that.

Not intrusive just informative. I could easily read the time even in a semi-dark room such as while watching TV in bed. Even while reading. In a completely dark room it can be read even without my glasses on.

So if you are looking for something that doesn't take up half of your nightstand, plays radio pleasantly and will tell you what time it is without having to turn over and look at it, this is what you want. Just keep the cat away or else get rid of the rubber ball on the end of the antenna.

Customer Review: First impression review
Summary: 5 Stars

I purchased this clock for it's projection abilities and have never owned a projection before. So I would consider the review I give this clock as a "First impression" review for those who also have never owned one and are considering in buying a projection clock.

-Great backlit display. Everything on the readout is PERFECTLY ledgible. Display is constantly lit up, unless you are running on battery only, or are on the 3 minute back up power.
-Has a nice 3 level dimness adjuster on when you hit the snooze button(which is nice if the clock is sitting within arms-length of you).
-Buttons: Are on the side to adjust the time, alarm, etc. They are clearly labeled(I can't understand for the life of me why so many people have reported that they can't figure out the buttons. The buttons will do what they say they do!)
-Projection: Perfectly ledgible in a dimly lit, to a dark room(This projection is meant to be seen when you wake up in the NIGHT/DARK, and roll over to see the time). If you are looking for a projection clock that you can see in broad daylight, you should be looking at ACTUAL projectors in the electronics section. The projection is clear from about 2-8 feet away(sitting on your night stand, projecting on your wall or ceiling) also telling you if the alarm is activated, and whether it is PM.
-Radio: Used the radio a couple of times. Acceptable sound to it, reception of course depends on your area. Again, if you are looking for a clock with AMAZING sound, I would suggest looking for STEREOS(also in the electronics section).

All in all, this clock does a exactly what it is supposed to do: IT TELLS THE TIME, AND WILL WAKE YOU UP WHEN YOU NEED TO. Everything else, is just extra.

Customer Review: Dont plan on using batteries
Summary: 3 Stars

Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Program (What's this?)
The worst first. My unit's projection feature was non function in battery mode. It would stay lit for about 5 seconds and the "flip projection" button did not work at all. Only when I plugged the unit into the wall did these features actually work.

The buttons for programing time and the alarm are on the side of this disc shaped unit. They are unfortunately a bit small and require a dedicated push for success. The placement of the program buttons relative to the screen and projection module is very awkward.

The radio antenna is actually an antenna wire about a foot long. I found it to be somewhat clumsey and limited, but other users may like the ability to manipulate the antenna rather than the traditional collapsable wire. Reception quality is just ok.

Once I gave up on the batteries and plugged my unit into the wall everything functioned as intended. Ease of programming is like radio reception .. just ok. Some reviews have downplayed the quality of the projection. Mine shoots onto a vaulted ceiling and while you cannot expect it to be be HD quality, I can read my projection with no trouble.

Overall This unit did not wow me. The design and function leaves much to be desired. I would suggest scoping out a different unit if you need a projection alarm clock.

Customer Review: Very stylish looking 2 alarm clock, minimal button clutter
Summary: 5 Stars

Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Program (What's this?)
This is a very stylish clock and relatively small so that it fits easily on a small bedside table. This clock would look especially good in a contemporary style interior design. The numbers are easy to read and the orange backlight can be easily set to three different intensities with a simple press of a big button. All the important frequently used buttons are easy to get to, the less used buttons are off to the side of the clock, so there is minimal button clutter. There is an included AC adaptor AND/OR you can use 4 AA batts. The two alarms are easy to set. However, only alarm 1 has radio. Alarm 2 is a buzzer. I would have rather had the option to set Alarm 2 for radio as well. The radio picks up stations pretty easily, and the antenae has a little weight ball to keep it straight. My other issue is with the time projection feature (which you can turn off). It's really easy to see on a 10 foot ceiling in the middle of the night and is unobtrusive. However, even though you can rotate the lens, it can be diffcult to get the illumination to the right spot on the ceiling , and you may have to turn the whole clock a little sideways to do it. Except for the lens positioning, I think the clock is of a an efficient and well-thought out design.

Customer Review: All good except for the projection viewability
Summary: 4 Stars

Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Program (What's this?)
This little clock radio looks good and gets great reception through a pig tail FM antenna with a sassy rubber bead on the end. I am able to pick up my favorite NPR station over sixty miles away about half the time. AM antenna is internal and I have not put it to the test. The projection can be adjusted 180 degrees and also with the push of a button can be turned upside-down or rightside-up making it highly adaptable for projecting to walls or ceiling. Four AA batteries, not included, can be installed to run the clock radio or just back it up. An AC adapter is included. There are two alarms, one will beep the other plays a (pre-selected) radio station. All your settings will hold for about three minutes without power or batteries. The display face is large and easy to see but the projection (on the ceiling in my case) is very poor. The digits are so narrow it's hard to tell if a three is a three or a one. But since I can see the face so easily I intend to keep it by my bed, replacing an Oregon Scientific RM313PNA Self-Setting Projection Clock, Silver which, by the way, has an excellent projection quality but no radio.
