I researched for several weeks before deciding on the Philips...and it turned out to be the best of any selections out there. It may be a bit more expensive, but certainly worth the ease of getting a start-up, and the the added features, especially an on-off timer, was really an added dimension over other digital frames.
The Amazon price was reasonable, and it came in just a few days. I am pleased with the transaction, and of course, the great product!

This was a gift purchase and I am very happy with it. The frame and the pictures look great and it was simpler to use than expected. My parents, who it was purchased for, love it. The only negative I can give is the desktop software shows the pictures very small when selecting pictures from your computer to put on the frame, so it is a bit hard to find the correct pictures if you have a lot in the folder.Customer Review: Vivid colors, easy to set-up

I had the opportunity to help a friend set up this digital frame as a gift. The ease of use was a big plus as is it's clarity and quality. It holds about 60 photos and every detail comes through beautifully. Phillip's gives you rich colors and a professional feel. The metal frame is versatile and the 8" viewing area is ideal. I spent a lot of time to organize my photos on the computer renaming them so they all are in proper time sequence. Guess what, the frame does not recognize the decimal order such that numbers 11 jumps ahad of number 2 like it was a binary code not a decimal number!
Another thing is that the frame cuts the top of the photos and displays two different size images for the same photo in its setup menu.

Gave to my wife as a birthday gift for her office and she loves it. Easy to setup, easy to use. Every week she brings home the memory card and we add to it. Great picture quality. Pictures are a little small if you have a equal mix of portrait vs landscape pictures. The only way to fix this is a larger frame though. Otherwise, we would recommend this product. A great value for the price.
