I got this for my wife for Xmas this year. We have it set up in the living room, scrolling through pictures of the kids. The quality of the picture if very good and I found it easy to use.
I can't speak for the software for PC, but on the Mac, all you have to do is plug in the screen via USB and copy pictures to the root folder that gets mounted. You can (as we do) export directly from iPhoto.
I haven't tried the SD chip yet, so I can't say how well that works.

I bought this frame for a gift for my dad and had it delivered to me so I could load it up with photos. The power cord didn't work on the first frame I received and I had to send it back for a replacement. My gift was late since I had to return it for a replacement. The next frame I received worked fine. The frame is very nice looking compared to ones I have seen in the stores. The picture is super clear. Once I got a working power cord it was super easy to work with.Customer Review: Great Frame

We have been very happy with the digital frame from Philips. The pictures we had on a SD card loaded easily and were recognized almost immediately. The preferences were easy to choose. I particularly like the auto on/off feature. The pictures are clear and undistorted. One of the features that sold us is the random picture setting which many of the other manufacturers did not have. We enjoyed this frame so much that we bought two additional ones for family members.Customer Review: great gift

Puchased this as Christmas gift for my brother and sister-in-law... Not a very computer savy couple. Being that I had never purchased or even seen one of these before, I was curious to try it out for myself. I installed the software and in no time had some family photos on the frame. They found it equally easy to use. As a gift, it was a big hit.
Only complaint is that the software seems to run slow, takes too long to select pictures from your pc.

I ordered this from the TheFactoryDepot, but I see it else where
for half the price. It's a nice product if you have the need, but
not for what TheFactoryDepot is asking. All of their prices are too
high - seems they are over charging. Other then that the display
may seem somewhat small, but it's a fun play toy for the home or
office. As one of the worlds top software developers I demand the
best and I can tell you this is it.
