The 9-inch digital frame is very attractive in appearance. The PowerPoint-like animation is quite nice as well. However, I am quite disappointed with the onboard rechargeable battery. I recently purchased two frames with the understanding that the battery would last about 8 hours. I needed them for a 3-day show that lasted about 7 hours each day. This model was chosen to avoid the need to run a power cable to them, due to location. The batteries lasted a maximum of about 1½ hours. It was both cumbersome and very disappointing to make this type of investment only to be frustrated with a product that did not measure up to its specifications.Customer Review: Great product! Bought the 9" digital frame the other day. So far have been very happy with it. Yes, the lcd screen is only 8" not the 9" that I and some others expected. The picture resolution is very good. Even though it states the resolution on this frame is slightly lower than the 7" model, I don't think it really makes a difference. The menu control buttons on the rear could use some improvement. They are not labeled except for the power button. This has lead me to push the wrong button on occasion. The onscreen menu is very easy to navigate. I was able to set up the frame in just a few minutes with very little input from the manual.Customer Review: Excellent gift!

I gave 2 at CHRISTMAS and they are great. The first to my mother. I set it up, loaded in pictures of my family and she was thrilled. Don't load the software included! Wait and see if you can just drag and drop. Our newer computer can do this without any confusing software. My mother doesn't use her computer with it at all. She simply sticks the memory card from her camera in the side of the frame and edits/deletes with the buttons on the back of the frame. Nice and easy! Best picture quality I've seen. Excluding the horrible unneeded software included...5 full stars for the frame itself.Customer Review: Great gift for new grandparents

My parents can use it for new grandbaby pictures as well as pictures from a recent trip to Ireland.
The internal memory is sufficient for holding a lot of pictures if you take the time to reduce the file size of the image before loading it to the frame. A picture on the order of 100-200kb still looks great on the frame. No need to load 1.5MB pictures directly from your digital camera, you won't see much difference anyway.
Image quality is great, and it serves its purpose of allowing them to have many pictures in one frame. It's a space saver.

This is an excellent product.
The screen can be view from all sides. The brightness is high enough to be seen even with full sunlight entering the room.
Also we have cat which has knocked our screen over atleast a dozen times from about 2 feet high onto the carpet and it has survived everytime. Yeah we moved it. :)
We had some problems getting the pictures to rotate so they can be viewed correctly, but if you can handle doing a mass edit beforehand, or your camera rotates them automatically then no problem.
Love it.
