Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Philips 7-Inch LCD Digital Photo Frame (Black)Customer Review: Ok but not great. Summary: 3 Stars
A few things stopped this one from being great.
1. I would have been nice to be able to put more pictures on the frame and not have to use any memory card.
2. The picture of the baby could not be removed from the frame memory. It kept giving the message "Operation failed."
3. A lot of prep work required for pictures to look good in the frame.
I did appreciate that when the frame is turned the picture turns with it.
Customer Review: Great to gift also! Summary: 5 Stars
They are many products like this in the market, but when it comes to Philiphs (The Dutch Electronic Giant) you are satisfied on the back of your mind that you cannot go wrong. The first look is very immpressive, pixels are clear and most of all it is very user friendly. I gifted it to one of my friend who just got recently married was full of praise for this product. I would definitly recommend it to my friends and family.
Customer Review: Don't waste your money Summary: 1 Stars
I went through the reviews for this item and thought it was OK to buy at this price. At the same time i also ordered Kodak 8'' photo frame. Once i inserted the SD card and start looking photos. The quality of this frame was very poor compare to other. I would add 30 dollar more and buy a better one. Its going to be there life time showing my pictures on the quality that i am not satisfied with.
Customer Review: OK....but distorts the photo a lil bit....... Summary: 4 Stars
I got it for $50 and for this price it is an OK product......I didnt realize before buying it that the screen has a higher length:height ratio resulting in a little bit distorted image. In order to fit the screen size image is compressed (in height) thus you tend to look fatter...on this frame.......otherwise it is a good product.....cant say much since hvn't used it for long......
Customer Review: Does the Job... Summary: 4 Stars
Works as it's supposed to - does the job - looks just fine. Drag pics to a SD card on ur computer and load it in the digital frame, turn it on and there u go. That's about it. Nothin' fancy about it - just works. Don't know who's complaining about this frame but they must be pretty picky about things. I bought one for me, and two more for bday presents for the Grandma's. ;-)
