Customer Review: If I could award minus stars
Summary: 1 Stars
After I unpacked the frame I tried unsuccessfully to load photos. I called Philips support and was told that my jpg's couldn't be loaded and that only jpeg's could be loaded. The agent suggested that I download a free program that changes jpg's to jpeg's and I did so. I then changed some of my photos to the jpeg format. Then I retried to load them into the frame and once again the process failed I called Philips support once more and explained what I had done. They told me that the frame was broken and that I should send it back but they refused to pay for the postage. I returned the frame to Amazon (free postage there).Customer Review: Good value for the money

- Several types of memory accepted
- Has built in auto on/off time
- Uses very little power
Cons:
- The screen is 16:9
- Pictures must be JPEG
- had to resize the photos down to 234 pixels high using a photo editing program to improve the look
- Lacks MP3 music playback
Overall I'd recommend this item and think it is a good value for money.

I am a professional photographer that relies on clarity as well as functionality use this product in presentations as well as helping me sell my photographs.
This product offers me the clarity and ease of operation I need. The clarity is as good as frames more than twice the price. The ease of operation makes it even more appealing. If you are looking for high quality at a great price I couldn't recommend this product more.
I looked at frames at twice the price and decides on this one. It's a truly professional product and a great value.

For $50 you are receiving a 7inch digital frame that gets the job done. This frame does not have great resolution or picture quality, but as I said, you only paid $50.
This picture frame is nice because it is a good size and fits perfectly on your desk.
If you are looking for a digital picture frame with really nice quality, this is not for you. On the other hand, if you are just looking for a good size frame to have a slideshow of your favorite pictures, this one is for you! For the price/size, you can't beat it!
Customer Review: Nice picture quality but software sucks!

Very nice color quality where black is black. I rate this product with only 2 stars because I have spent a lot of time trying to figure out how auto start/off works. And because time is money, this product has a very high price to value ratio. I am not going to reveal the bug that the software has at auto start/off function unless Philips pays me for the time I 've spent. Also the random fuction does not work at all. Generally , I didn't expect such sleazy software form a company named Philips!
