Customer Review: The best at what it does
Summary: 5 Stars

First off, you have to remember that this is a UHF only antenna. It will not pick up VHF signals and I have read a number of reviews where people marked it down for not pulling in VHF.

I bought this indoor antenna after we moved last month. Our old house had a roof mounted UHF antenna to get our locals in HD and it worked very well. This indoor antenna works even better. We get 2 more channels that we never got with the old outdoor antenna, and signal strength is better across the board.

If I had to complain about anything, it might be the build quality, but for under $20, I didn't expect more. Once you have it in place, you are not going to want to move it anyway.

Customer Review: Great HDTV Antenna
Summary: 5 Stars

I now have two of these units. I purchased the first at Circuit City at a higher cost. I was very please with the performance of the first one. It brought in all the local HD stations I expected along with some that I was unaware were available. It delivers a very good picture and sound. Others have commented on the great picture that I receive.

When the need arose for another antenna I immediately went to Circuit City, but it was no longer available. Needless to say, I was thrilled to find it on Amazon, and for a smaller purchase price. I am using the second unit on a Samsung 32" LCD HDTV and the reception is stunning. If the need arises, I will purchase another one.

Customer Review: Does a great job
Summary: 5 Stars

I bought this antenna based on the other reviews which said they had good reception with this antenna. I just got an HDTV and was using my old amplified antenna that had the rabbit ears and a round ring for the UHF. It did fine but when I hooked up this one, and checked on my TV under info., which shows the strength of the reception, it was much, much stronger. It took a few tries, turning it in a few different directions until I found the best spot and once there, the signal comes in very strong. I haven't had to play with the diraction since then. I live in the northern suburbs of the Twin Cities in a townhome and this antenna does the job just beautifully. I am very, very happy with it.

Customer Review: Does it differ from the Zenith antenna? Not at all!
Summary: 5 Stars

My parents get cable, but there's one ethnic program that they love to watch, that comes on an obscure Channel 23 in Chicago (and not on any cable channel). They even have one TV dedicated to non-cable, and I've tried so many different rabbit ears to get this station in clearly. There was always panic if someone accidentally touched the rabbit ears, as it would take awhile to get that station in clearly, again. Then I read reviews about this particular antenna, and thought - it must be better... and it is!! It's terrific and picks up the station 20 miles away from the transmitting location. Ok, so it's not like being in the studio, but it's a HUGE improvement. Love it.

Customer Review: Worked great in a basement installation
Summary: 5 Stars

I bought this based on the recommendation the comparison review that looked at several antennas.

This was installed in my mom's house. Her TV is in the basement and the regular antenna only gave her a single station. After installing this antenna, she has all the digital stations available in her area (Baltimore, MD). It took a minor placement adjustment to get public TV station reception, but now it works perfectly.

For the record, my mom is 10 miles from the station towers (according to antennaweb.org), and in Baltimore, all stations except PBS broadcast from virtually the same location. That makes it extremely easy to place the antenna correctly.
