Customer Review: Peerless ST660 Tilt Wall mount review
Summary: 5 Stars

I have two of these mounts in my home for my Samsung flat panels. One is for a 52" the other for a 46". Everyone knows you have to screw the mount into a stud. This model comes with the stud screws included. While you are adjusting height it is easy to get the TV on and off the mount until you tighten the set screws. There are more than enough screw holes that are horizontally elongated to find a stud. Use your stud finder to get the 2 studs you select then center your unit. Hang your Tv on it and tighten down the top set screws as needed to secure and level the set. You are done. There are no complicated instructions and the kit comes with every screw and collet you will ever need. This is a five star product and I highly recommend it to anyone wanting a safe and secure mount for their flat panel. The unit tilts and can be locked in at whatever angle you choose. Nick Schepis

Customer Review: Peerless ST660 flat screen tilting wall mount.
Summary: 5 Stars

PEERLESS TILTING WALL MOUNT FOR MEDIUM-LARGE 32-60 LCD SCREEN UNIVERSAL (Black) (#ST660) (Retail)This is a well designed wall mount for flat screen HDTV's. I was concerned because I had a space on the wall that was almost exactly the width of the TV and wasn't sure that I would be able to be able to access the studs properly. The worry wasn't necessary!! The bracket is very well made and quite adequate to hold my 100 pound 52" LCD firmly without flexing. There is also a wide selection of mounting hardware and there are enough mounting holes to accommodate a wide variety of wall arrangements. Also, the exact size of screws are sent to mount the bracket to the TV .... in fact, hardware of different sizes is included for most major HDTV flat panels. My wife and I were able to install the ST660 to the wall and mount the panel on the bracket without a hitch.

Customer Review: Sturdy but you may need special screws for your TV
Summary: 3 Stars

The stand is sturdy and comes with quite an assormant of screws for mounting different televisions. I was using it for a Sony W3000 52" TV. It had my TV listed in a book that said which of the sets of screws to use. I tried these and they were too long. It had another set that was the same diameter but they were too short. After reading the manual that came with my telelvision I found out that I needed an inbetween size that did not come with the mount kit. After going to 2 Home Depot's and a Lowes I was unable to find the right size bolts, so I ended up buying a set of washers, and had to use 3 of them for each of the bolts that came with mount kit so that I could tighten them with out poking a hole through the front of the TV. I was actually also surprised with Sony for not including the mounting bolts for their with tv.

Customer Review: Sturdy, but tilt adjustments are a chore
Summary: 3 Stars

I bought this wall mount over others because it can be tilted upwards 5 degrees, allowing easier access to cables on the back of the TV. The hand-tightened screws which allow setting the tilt angle are not adequate for my 50" plasma -- the TV tilt angle slowly drops down to face the floor (greater than 20 degrees tilt). Thus, you must use a special hex tool supplied with the mount to set the tilt angle in fixed 5 degree increments. However, inserting the required screws in one of the 5 degree increments with the special hex tool is next to impossible. You're better off just calling the neighbor and lifting the TV off the wall, make your cable changes, and lift it back up on the wall again. Works fine otherwise.

Customer Review: Good frame, beware of instructions
Summary: 4 Stars

Good frame and hardware. Fit my Panasonic 46" plasma perfectly. However, the instructions almost led to an installation error. The instructions stated that the top mounting bolts of the frame should be measured at 6.2" above the center of the screen. Luckily, I decided to mount the brackets on the TV, then put the frame on while the TV was on the ground and measure to the top of the TV from the top of the frame. There was 2" more to the top of the TV then when following the 6.2" instructions. If I would have mounted the frame as originally measured, the screen would have been 2" too high. Please take my advice and measure out the actual distance with the frame on the brackets before you hang the frame.
