The mount came in black (no matter to me). The instructions were EASY. Basically, make sure you screw into wall studs or concrete. Bought a cheap stud finder from HomeDepot (good little investment). Had the mount and the TV onto the wall in less than an hour to hang a 32inch TV. Make sure you have your cords connected in the back of the TV before you hang. Perfect for my needs and the price was great. Highly reccomend. Only issue would be for adding cords in the back of TV, will have to take TV off mount otherwise. No tilt but can slide a bit left or right for adjustment. GREAT MOUNT!!!Customer Review: great bargain - works well

Excellent value. Arrived early. To make sure it will work for you, I would suggest you find the studs in your wall before you order. With the dimensions from the manual (seller's website) you can put a cardboard mock up on the wall to figure out where and how your tv will look. Plug in your wires and then do the final tv mounting as space is very tight. Regarding the bracket that attaches to the tv -- find and use a a long straight allen wrench or long screw driver to get them to finger tight: Then use the L shaped allen wrench to finally secure it. Great Amazon price ... similar mounts are way more expensive at B&M stores or elsewhere online.
Does the job, was pretty easy to install, and allows you to mount the bracket on the studs and then slide the TV over to center it.
Only thing that brought it down was the included hex key for tightening the TV to the mount. The "L" side was too long and meant I couldn't turn it 360 degrees because it was so close to the wall. The solution: 10 minutes with a hacksaw, cut off the "L" side, and throw it in the drill. 30 seconds and the TV was tight.

I ordered this and discovered that my TV was not compatible. The Panasonic mounting holes are too far apart for this mount. I only found this out by calling the manufacturer. I had to reorder the model 660 by Peerless. Peerless customer support did not seem concerned about my problem.
As the Panasonic 42" display is probably one of the most popular sold, something should be mentioned in the advertising to check compatibilty.
My impresion was that it fit all TV's to 49".
The unit appeared well made and instructions seemed good.

I bought this mount thinking that it sounded like a great deal for my 42" LCD TV, and while the description of the product said that it should fit most 42" LCD TVs, it didn't fit mine by a long shot. I wound up having to go out and buy a mount at a retail store for about four times the price on top of the hassle of returning this wall mount. (Amazon was very good about the return, however.) So, please save yourself time, effort, and money and double check to make sure that this mount will actually fit your TV.
