Customer Review: Not the best Wall Mount in the world.

First off the description didn't mention this mount was for walls with studs upto 16" apart. Most newer homes are built with the studs further apart 23"-24". Had to mount it soley on the drywall. The instruction manual could not be anymore confusing because it provides instructions not only for the model you purchase but for every other model wall mount....no need for that. Once up on the wall....finally...the function of it serves well but let me tell you putting it together was no cake especially since it's not the right size for my 37" TV. Due to the distance from stud to stud on my wall the recommended mount is the extra larger one 30" wide which is for TV's up to 60".Customer Review: DOES NOT FIT VIZIO 32' 37' 42'. The product is well made and is as pictured. BUT this item will not fit anything more than an 26in monitor.I think this is a older mount or maybe for commercial use. I do not recommend this product for anything. DOES NOT FIT VIZIO 32' 37' 42'. Description my deceive you. I ended up using for my 22in viewsonic and it barley fit it. Go to the peerless website and put in you tv model and it will tell you what fits, then come back to amazon and find it. I have bought other mounts and they were much easier to use. Once I finally put it together (Most of the other ones are more assembled) I found out it wouldn't even accommodate the 42" TV I had bought at the same time. It is listed as 23-46" and now I have to return it. I went out to Best Buy and bought an appropriate mount because I had everything all over the living room and wasn't about to wait for a new shipment to come in. I can't believe there wasn't a warning that says something about the mount not accommodating the specific TV I purchased and AMAZON.com should have some kind of red flag if you are purchasing the items together to be sure they are compatible!Customer Review: not perfect, but well constructed and easy to install

This bracket seems to be very well constructed, very easy to install, and very thin making the mounted TV look very nice. The only place I see room for improvement is with system which locks the verticle brackets in place, securing the TV to the wall bracket. There are two set-screws which perform this function effectively, but are very difficult to access once the TV is mounted. Tightening/loosening those screws is unnecessarily difficult. I would suggest replacing them with spring-loaded, hinged clips of some sort. That way, the TV could easily be removed from the wall for height adjustment if necessary.
Overall- I am satisfied with this product.

This is a perfect match for ~40" LCD TVs. I have used it for my 37" LG LCD TV. I had bought one for twice the price from BestBuy (the cheapest one in their store); which turned out to be for a middle stud, so I had to return it and buy the Peerless from Amazon.com. It comes with all the possible screws for the wall and TV so you don't have to shop around. You have to connect it to two studs so if you have a middle stud this is not suitable for you. Also you might want to buy plastic washers to prevent the metallic washers included in the package from scratching the back of your LCD TV (just a suggestion).
Overall perfect price perfect product!
