Customer Review: NOT FOR LARGE FLAT SCREENS!!!

This product had the description that said it would fit flat screen TV's up to 46", when in reality, it should only be for small TV's. The holes on the back of my TV were set too far apart for this mount because it is a 42" and needs a more supportive wall mount. We ended up sending it back because it just wouldn't fit. The description shouldn't say it will fit most TV's up to 46" when there's no way it can. The mount felt too lightweight to hold up my 42". Would only be good for small TV's!!! The only redeeming aspect of this mount is that it came with all of the hardware separated out into individual packages, very clearly labeled! That would make installation much faster and more accurate. Don't waste your time or your money if you have a large flat screen!Customer Review: Nice hardware, but it doesn't fit my 46" LCD TV

The included hardware and directions were great, and the mount itself looked nice, but it didn't fit my tv. The vertical bars were too short for the holes on the back. I have a Samsung LNT4665F 46" 1080p LCD HDTV. The peerless website was great though, and I recommend you check it out to make sure the technical dimensions are correct for your tv. (http://www.peerlessindustries.com/) They have every measurement you might need to determine if the mount will fit. I was happy to find a mounting bracket for around half the price of other brackets. I was disappointed to find that there was little room for A/V cables in the back of the television after mounting to a wall. My 32" Sony Bravia fit well, but the HDMI cable would not fit with the mounting bracket. To solve the problem, I went to the local home center and bought a box of washers and used them as spacers to add another inch between the television and the mounting bracket. Now I have about 2" clearance in the back- plenty for all of my cables. The kit includes a variety of bolts for different televisions- The bolts are all standard so you can easily tweak the positioning of this bracket by buying some machine bolts at the local home center.Customer Review: Great Flush Mount for 37"

I ordered this for my new 37" Panasonic after verifying the fit from the Peerless website. Came in 3 days and went up on a sheetrock wall with wood studs on 16" centers in about 45 minutes. Great product, easy install. Fits very cose to the wall which looks great but requires a little planning on where to have your connections emerge from the wall if you are going to fish them. The clearance is about 1.5" so be sure and have your HDMI and cable and possibly power (depending on the tv) come out of the wall directly behind the TV connection point. No problem with the locking screws. There is enough space to angle the allen wrench a little to get it to make a full 360 without cutting it off like some other reviews have suggested.Customer Review: Not as "Universal" as they claim !

PLEASE READ !!!! Great quality, but to say this mount fits 23-46" is very misleading. Measure the distance needed between the brackets, this one only expands to 18". Our 42" Samsung HPS4253 needed 24" so this "universal" mount was not so universal in our case (so much for fitting up to 46" TVs). I would strongly recommend going to a name brand site, entering your TV model number, finding the mount you need and then coming back here to Amazon for the best price or a compatible knockoff.
On a VERY positive note, Amazon accepted my return, paid for return shipping and I have now ordered the correct mount, after the above procedure!
