Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Peerless SA740P Articulating LCD Wall Mount for 22-40" LCD Screens (Black)Customer Review: Sturdy, Cheap, Fashionable and Functional Summary: 5 Stars
I was very nervous to mount my new TV to the wall, but this unit is extremely sturdy and I trust it after installing it. It uses two 2.5" screws to go directly into the stud. I do not like messing with my parents drill and screwing into the wall, but the setup was relatively easy and the hardest part is the nervousness of getting your tv hovering in the air. Be sure to be as level as possible with the mounting or the TV will be crookedy (you can correct it a bit though with the hardware). This TV makes it possible to view my TV properly from my desk as well as my bed, so it does exactly what I want it to do. The space savings are considerable and made the difference in my room flowing well and being overcramped. I really love this product and have already recommended it to my family members. My new Samsung (LN37A550) works perfectly on it.
Customer Review: Very Pleased Summary: 5 Stars
I bought the SA740P to mount our new Samsung 40" LCD over the fireplace in our kitchen. It was very easy to install and instructions were easy to follow. I did have to get different hardware to mount it to the wall because I didn't secure it to a wall stud. Because I wanted it centered directly over the center of the fireplace, I had to support a 2x12 between two studs above the fireplace (inside the wall) and mount it to the 2x12 through the drywall. If I had mounted it to one of the studs over the fireplace, the TV would not have been centered over the fireplace when fully retracted. It turned out great! Initially I had concerns that it may not be strong enough because we were at the 40" limit of it's rating, but it handles it without any problems even when fully extended. It turned out great for us...highly recommend.
Customer Review: One excellent wall mount!! Summary: 5 Stars
I bought this wall mount for my new 26" HD LCD television for my bedroom, replacing a 20" regular TV that had also been mounted on a different type of Peerless wall bracket. The illustrated step-by-step instructions were fool-proof, and the bracket's plate fit the back of my new TV with no adapter required (although a couple of options are included, if you need them). With my husband's help and the right power tools, we had the bracket installed and the TV mounted on it in less than 45 minutes. We were lucky, in that the new bracket's holes exactly matched the old ones, and we didn't have to re-drill into the stud. I particularly like its wide arm-swing, providing lots of adjustability options for viewing from the bed. I highly recommend this product if you're looking for something other than a flat-mount for a 22-40" LCD.
Customer Review: Just what I was looking for! Summary: 5 Stars
This is a great wall mount that moves away from the wall, rotates and tilts. Then you can easily put the TV back in place flush against the wall when finished. Very sturdy. Just drill two holes into a stud and there you go! Like a previous review mentioned, I too have a 32 inch Toshiba 32HL66. This fit without any additional adapter plates. I was a little worried ahead of time that it might not fit my TV. Going to their website was useless. Here is what you need you know: On the back of your TV are 4 threaded holes. They either form a rectangle or square. All you have to do is measure two adjacent sides. As long as they are either 75mm, 100mm or 200mm; this mount will fit with no additional brackets. The price was about half of a less sturdy model at Best Buy. You won't be unhappy with this one!
Customer Review: Fantastic Product Summary: 5 Stars
Considering the fact that it will cost you over $200 to buy an articulating Arm if you buy the one's that they peddle at BestBuy or some other electronics store, this Arm is an absolute STEAL!! It took me 20 minutes to set up and most of that was spent trying to find the beam and screw those crazy long screws in. I have my 32" LCD in a very narrow room so it HAD to go in a corner. The arm did the trick and it looks professional. I even painted the room after and didnt have to take the TV down. I just swung the Arm out one way, painted the area, and then swung it the other way. You dont even have to be any good at hanging things because if you dont put the thing up straight, no worries - The arm adjusts in just about every angle and every direction.
For the price it cant be beat. I highly reccomend!
