This comes as one, durable piece with screws for mounting, and good, clear instructions for installation. I mounted a 26" TV with this, and it's fantastic. As another review noted, if you want to mount this flush against the wall, the mounting bracket will have to be about 6" off center from the middle of where you want the TV to be, so just keep that in mind when ordering. When mounting, that's pretty easy to measure and account for. You'll need a good stud-finder (preferably with edge-finding capability -- my $30 Zircom i65 did the trick quite well for me) to solidly mount this, but I got that done on the first shot. Also, pay attention (in the instructions) how to adjust the roll (clockwise/counter-clockwise) when finally mounting the tv, since the mounting plate on mine was *slightly* off-center with respect to the rest of the frame & needed to be compensated for. Another thing to note is that the "cable organization" features of this are really zip-ties that you can use to tie cables to the frame -- to truly organize & conceal your cables, you'll need a raceway or in-wall concealment, but the tie-points on the frame are helpful. We got a new tv for the workout room in our home. Depending upon what's being done for a workout, however, the tv needs to face in various directions. For example, we have an elliptical that is against a far wall that puts the person on it up rather high in the room and on the far right side of the room when it's being used. But I also workout to fitness dvds and we play Wii games in this same room, which puts the viewer down from the tv.
So, if you are like us and are not always viewing the tv from the same angle, whether in a living room where you may want to turn the tv towards the kitchen when cooking, bathroom with the tv up high over a mirror or door, or a room that has any varied areas for watching, this is a must.
Or even if you want to be able to pull your tv out from the wall but then push it back to a flush position for good looks when guests come or when you aren't watching the tv...it works there too.
The arm extends the tv out to 15.6" from the wall and allows you to push the tv flat against wall when not in use.
We can tilt it with a slight touch of a finger down or up or sideways yet it holds firmly.
If two chicks can use a stud finder and mount this correctly on a stud and use a level to make sure one of the screws isn't going off the edge of the stud while the other is firm, well I think anyone can. In fact, I downloaded a free app on my i-phone that made the i-phone screen into a level (I'm not kidding) so I didn't even have to buy a level.
We have a 40" flat screen.
You'll also need a drill and a phillip's head screw driver. You'll need to mount this into a wood stud or concrete or cinderblock. But I would suspect you know this going in...
It has a 5 year warranty.
Negatives? hmmm, I guess that it didn't come with a handyman because my arms hurt from holding up the dang tv to attach it to the mount. Other than that, I couldn't be happier. (giggle)
Many other mounts only allowed the tv to sit flush against the wall or tilt in one direction and I found this mount for $200 more on another site so I was quite pleased to find it for less here...

I've had this mount for about a month. It is very heavy-duty and was about as simple to install as could be. I have it bolted to a 26" LCD TV currently, but will be replacing that with a 32" soon. I suggest pre-drilling the two mounting screws with a 1/16" bit and of course make sure you are going into a stud or other form of solid wood.Customer Review: Great product

After ordering one of these wall mounts for my daughters new home, I knew I had to have one for the bedroom in my home. Very strong, easy to position the television for the best viewing angle, and easy to install. My wife even likes it.
