Customer Review: Perfect Wall Mount for my Sharp Aquos 15" LCD TV

Very well built & designed wall mount bracket!
It took me about 20 minutes from marking the screw holes to turning on the TV to mount this bracket. It is very sturdy - and supports my 15" Sharp Aquos LCD TV with ease. This TV is in a corner of my kitchen, and there was only one stud close enough to mount the bracket which would allow viewing from most of the kitchen. The length and design of the arm was extremely helpful in that I could swing the arm either right or left to best position it into the corner. The screws supplied for mounting to the TV were the perfect length (my TV came with a handle and the screws for that would be too long). The only tools I needed were a Philips head screwdriver and my drill. Excellent product!

These wall mounts are perfect for mounting screens at work or at home. I use two of them at work, side by side. If you plan to mount these side by side, be very sure you know where you are mounting the 'screens' in relation to where the mounts are being placed. You will either need a level to place atop the mounts, or you'll need to mount the screens before you screw the mounts into the wall.
The one drawback on these is the length of the screws. There are two sets of screws given and the shorter set is just a hair too long for the depth of the recess in most monitors. So, use the longer set of screws with the plastic tubes which effectively shorten the longer set to fit and mount tightly.
Overall, very satisfied.

This looks like an awesome mount. I just got mine. I'm confident it will be easy to install (I'm a pro carpenter). It looks a little smaller than I thought it would, but it should work fine. Fully extended, it reaches out 14.5", which will still work fine for me. BE ADVISED: The LCS-KLA (model number) I received looked different from the one pictured on Amazon. I thought they sent the wrong one (I went with the lowest price seller) but I checked the model number on the peerless website peerlessindustries_dot_com and mine is the same specs and number as the one pictured here on Amazon. In fact, the one I got looks better than the one pictured. The price here is less than 1/2 what an equal mount costs elsewhere. Thanks amazon!Customer Review: Installation Hiccup

Although I like the product design and function, the installation instructions have some issues. The instructions call for a 1/4" hole in a concrete wall, into which provided mollies will anchor the screws. Following these instructions exactly, the holes were simply too small. The mollies made it into the wall with some force, but no amount of strength could force the screws in. The result: Broken mollies and useless holes in the wall.
A quick trip to the hardware store told me that for the number 14 screws provided in the package I needed bigger mollies and a 5/16" hole. Worked like a charm and I was able to cover up the original holes. A lot more hassle than I was hoping for.

This is the second one of these that we buy. The only downfall is that the monitor cannot be adjusted up or down post mounting (better measure correctly before drilling), and if after mounting the monitor is tilted (right of left), you need to re-drill (once again, take your time before drilling). Other than that, the mount is awesome. It is very strong and holds the monitor without a problem. We love the convenience of pushing the monitor to the wall when not in use and opening desk workspace. It is also nice looking if for some reason someone happens to see it behind the monitor. Would I buy the same one if I had the choice? Yes I would - as a matter of fact, I did.
