While these connectors do not have the thick insulation or sturdy feel of a Monster or NXG cable, they are certainly worth the price. Both cables I bought fasten as securely as the more expensive toslink cables I own, function just as well, and arrived just as shown in the photo, with dust caps.Customer Review: Not as Described

Usually when I order/buy an Optical Cable, I expect both ends of the cable to have optical connectors. One end of this product was definitely not an optical cable. I have never seen this type of plug, but it is not a toslink. While the product works as described - one end did not fit as snug as I would have liked into the back of my CD player. It is possible that this is a issue with my CD player vs. the cable, but regardless, it is certainly worth the price! These cables work great. I have about 7 of these in the house for different sound systems and tvs with x boxes and such and I saved over 2 hundred bucks easy rather than buying them from best buy or other local a/v store. I cannot distinguish any difference in sound from $50 cable and $2 cable.Customer Review: Invest in a better cable

This cable is of very poor quality. I believe there is something wrong with the fibre, as it cuts out frequently. I tried it with several sources, all produced the same result. Great, digital sound, but then it stops approximately every 20 seconds. I would definitely not recommend this cord.
